👨🍳 About the Kitchen Porter Role
As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll be a vital part of our hotel kitchen team, ensuring a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for food preparation and service. You’ll work closely with our chefs and back-of-house team to maintain high standards across all kitchen and utility areas.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize all kitchen equipment, crockery, cutlery, and utensils.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas including:
- Kitchen floors and walls
- Food storage units like fridges and freezers (assisting chefs)
- Back yard and delivery zones
- Waste disposal bins and cardboard crushing
- Follow hygiene, fire safety, COSHH, and health & safety regulations.
- Report accidents, near misses, pest sightings, and shortages to senior staff.
- Support the kitchen team with general duties and assist when required.

- Can work under pressure in a fast-paced and hot kitchen environment
