About the Role
Triple Scoop is seeking a reliable and hands-on Ice Cream / Gelato Maker to join our growing, family-run business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with food, learning specialist production skills, and being part of a small, fast-paced team.
The role combines gelato production (3 days per week) with local deliveries (2 days per week), offering a varied and engaging work routine.
Key Responsibilities
Gelato & Ice Cream Production (3 Days per Week)
- Prepare gelato, ice cream, sorbets, and frozen desserts in line with set recipes and quality standards.
- Operate commercial gelato and ice cream machines safely and efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the production area.
- Follow all food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
- Monitor ingredients, manage stock rotation, and report low stock levels.
- Contribute ideas for new flavours and product development.
Deliveries (2 Days per Week)
- Complete scheduled local deliveries to restaurants, cafés, and venues.
- Ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time, particularly during busy periods.
- Drive and maintain company vehicles responsibly.
What We’re Looking For

- Comfortable working independently and within a small team.
- Able to work efficiently in a food production environment.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Interest in food production, desserts, or artisan products.
Experience & Training
- Previous experience in food production, kitchens, bakeries, cafés, or restaurants is desirable but not essential.
- Food Hygiene Level 2 certification preferred (training can be provided).
- Full training will be given for gelato production and equipment use.
