About the Role
Mrs Potts Chocolate House is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Part-Time Shift Supervisor to join our Bristol store. You will lead shifts, oversee daily operations in the absence of a manager, and help deliver an exceptional customer experience in a vibrant, team-oriented environment.
This role is ideal for someone energetic, outgoing, and passionate about customer service. Candidates living within a 5–10 minute walk from the store are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead store opening and closing procedures, reporting to management
- Delegate tasks and guide staff during shifts
- Welcome customers and create memorable experiences
- Prepare and serve indulgent treats: hot chocolates, sundaes, milkshakes, cookie sandwiches, cakes, and drinks
- Assist with stock ordering when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Opportunity to receive training in cake decoration and baking
Requirements & Skills
- Supervisory or barista experience preferred but not essential
- Energetic, outgoing, and customer-focused
- Ability to work a minimum of 3 days per week, including weekdays and weekends
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
