Ascot Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse with experience in neurorehabilitation to join our specialist nursing team. You’ll play a key role supporting patients with complex neurological conditions, including brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, and progressive disorders.
💷 Salary: £30,000 – £37,000/year
🕒 Hours: Full-time or part-time, 12-hour shifts, including weekends and bank holidays (rota basis)
📍 Location: London SW16
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist nursing care for patients with complex neurological needs (tracheostomy, PEG feeding, spasticity, medications)
- Conduct patient assessments and contribute to personalised rehabilitation and care plans
- Monitor patients’ neurological and physical condition, escalating changes to the multidisciplinary team (MDT)
- Offer education and emotional support to patients and families
- Collaborate with therapists, medical staff, and consultants to deliver holistic care
- Mentor junior nursing staff and healthcare assistants
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration (Adult Nurse, RGN)
- Experience in neurorehabilitation or complex care nursing
- Competence in tracheostomy, PEG feeding, and neurological care
- Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical skills
- Ability to work under pressure while delivering safe, compassionate care
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
