Role Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Driver & Warehouse Operative to join our team. This is a hands-on role combining delivery driving and warehouse duties. You’ll spend most of your day delivering plumbing and heating products to trade customers using a company van, and when not on the road, assist in the warehouse with goods handling and organisation. No prior plumbing or heating experience is needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Driving & Deliveries:
- Deliver customer orders using a company van
- Drive professionally and safely, checking the van daily for defects
- Load and unload items and ensure accurate delivery
- Provide punctual, customer-focused service
Warehouse Duties:
- Receive and check deliveries from suppliers
- Pick and prepare orders for dispatch
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised warehouse
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience in commercial driving or warehouse work preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
