Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and care at our retirement village. In this role, you will help create a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment for residents by ensuring their homes and communal areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular cleaning tasks in residents’ apartments, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Launder residents’ linens and clothing with care
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of communal areas such as lounges, dining areas, and hallways
- Assist with light maintenance tasks as required
- Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety throughout the village
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in residential or hospitality settings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently and independently
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, friendly approach
- Sensitivity to the needs and preferences of older adults
- Willingness to complete background checks and relevant training
