Location: Bromsgrove (B60 4JR)
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
Job Type: Part-time (3 days per week: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, and reliable Nursery Assistant to join our small and supportive team. You will work alongside three staff members, caring for children aged 2 to 4 years in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the care and development of children aged 2–4 years
- Plan and deliver engaging activities
- Observe, assess, and record children’s progress (using Tapestry)
- Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
Requirements:
- Level 2 Childcare Qualification (essential)
- Previous nursery or childcare experience
- Good Maths and English skills
- Enhanced DBS (registered with the update service)
- First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it
- Ability to start at 9:00 AM and commit to fixed working days
- Willingness to attend evening meetings and training
