Hours: 30–40 hours per week (including weekends)

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Cook Assistant / Senior Catering Assistant to join our friendly and professional team at a leading outdoor activity centre in North Devon. This role offers a great work-life balance and the opportunity to work in a dynamic catering environment serving a wide range of guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner for up to 280 guests
- Assist with food preparation, including sandwiches, salads, and light meals
- Serve meals to customers and staff
- Support the Catering Manager and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Carry out washing up and general kitchen duties
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding policies

Essential Criteria
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (support provided)
Working Hours
- Split shifts: 7:00–11:00 AM and 3:00–7:00 PM
- Occasional straight shifts: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM or 11:00 AM–7:00 PM
- Weekend shifts on a rota basis
