Schedule: Weekend availability (Saturday & Sunday, daytime and evenings)
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to assist an individual in maintaining an independent and fulfilling lifestyle within their own home. This role involves providing both practical and personal support tailored to the employer’s needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Support with shopping and attending appointments
- Encourage and assist with outdoor activities and exercise
- Provide personal care and mobility support while ensuring safety
- Help with leisure activities and day-to-day routines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic home environment
- Communicate effectively while respecting confidentiality
- Identify and report any health and safety concerns
Requirements:
- Previous care or support experience preferred
- Reliable, flexible, and well-organised
- Patient, motivated, and understanding
- Good sense of humour and positive attitude
- Physically fit to support mobility needs
- Ability to carry out domestic duties
- Must be a driver
- Enhanced DBS check required

- Work will take place in the employer’s home
