Pay: £12.21 – £13.00 per hour
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in a professional kitchen while supporting the preparation of high-quality meals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly following set standards
- Prepare ingredients and support basic cooking tasks under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including utensils, equipment, and surfaces
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Support meal service when required
- Assist with stock rotation, storage, and inventory checks
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations, especially during busy periods
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not essential
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices is an advantage
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Interest in food preparation and customer service
