We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Bakery Assistant to join our friendly bakery team. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for baking and food preparation, eager to learn and contribute to creating delicious products for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and baking a variety of items, including bread, pastries, and cakes
- Measure, mix, and assemble ingredients following recipes
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bakery workspace
- Operate baking equipment safely under supervision
- Ensure all products meet quality standards before packaging or display
- Help with stock management, receiving deliveries, and storing ingredients
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or bakery work is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen procedures is a plus
- Interest in baking and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
