Role Overview:
As a Waiter/Waitress, you’ll be the face of Opa Bath, ensuring guests receive warm, attentive service and enjoy every visit. You’ll take orders, serve food and drinks, and maintain a welcoming and efficient dining environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and seat guests, providing a friendly start to their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems (Aloha or Micros)
- Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining presentation and promoting menu items
- Check in with tables to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety standards
- Handle payments accurately at the end of each shift
- Assist colleagues during busy periods as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a busy restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Familiarity with POS systems and reservation platforms (e.g., OpenTable) is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
