About the Family:
A caring family with a 2-year-old toddler is seeking an experienced and nurturing Nanny to join their household. This role is perfect for someone passionate about early childhood development and providing a safe, stimulating, and loving environment for their child.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full-time care for a toddler, including diapering, dressing, and potty training.
- Prepare healthy snacks and maintain a clean, organized play area.
- Plan and carry out age-appropriate activities to support physical, cognitive, language, and social-emotional development.
- Encourage gross motor skills through active indoor/outdoor play (running, climbing, ball games).
- Promote fine motor skills with puzzles, building blocks, arts, and crafts.
- Stimulate language development through reading, singing, and conversation.
- Foster social-emotional growth by teaching sharing, turn-taking, and interaction with others.
- Take the child on outings to parks, playgroups, or other child-friendly activities (weather permitting).
- Provide regular updates to parents on activities and developmental progress.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience working with toddlers (3+ years preferred).
- NVQ Level 2 in Childcare preferred.
- Certified in infant/child CPR and First Aid.
- Excellent communication skills and reliable references.
- DBS check within the last year or on the update service.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and genuinely passionate about working with young children.

- Hours: 45 per week, Monday to Friday (8:45 AM – 5:45 PM)
- Start Date: After September
- Compensation: £19–£21 gross per hour
