Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning, basic maintenance, and ensuring the premises are secure.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, clearing pathways, and emptying bins
- Clean and sanitise toilet facilities and restock supplies as required
- Perform basic maintenance and minor repair tasks
- Open and lock the building as required
- Maintain cleanliness in shared areas such as corridors and entrances
- Follow all cleaning procedures and health & safety guidelines
Skills & Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work preferred
- Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Good time management and organisational skills
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience using hand tools, commercial cleaning, or janitorial work
- Driving licence (preferred)
