We are looking for a dependable and detail-focused Domestic Assistant to help maintain high standards of cleanliness across residential and/or commercial environments. This role is key to ensuring all areas remain clean, hygienic, safe, and welcoming for residents, staff, and visitors.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, and communal areas
- Maintain excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards at all times
- Safely use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment according to guidelines
- Identify and report any maintenance issues or health & safety concerns
- Assist with laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and storing linens when required
- Keep cleaning storage areas tidy, organised, and well-stocked
- Follow all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Skills & Requirements
- Previous experience in hospital, care home, or commercial cleaning is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Clear communication skills and a professional attitude
- Understanding of health and safety standards in cleaning is an advantage
