Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Shop Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong attention to detail, and thrives in a busy retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide excellent customer service
- Assist customers with product enquiries and purchases
- Keep the shop floor clean, tidy, and well organised
- Receive, unpack, and process stock deliveries
- Refill shelves and maintain attractive product displays
- Operate the till and handle transactions accurately
- Work closely with team members to meet sales goals
- Help resolve customer concerns in a professional manner
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Good attention to detail, especially when handling cash and stock
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
