Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking gardener to join a friendly family-run gardening and landscaping business. The role involves maintaining gardens for regular customers and supporting basic landscaping work as required.
No prior landscaping experience is necessary, as training will be provided for the right candidate, provided they are motivated, hands-on, and willing to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general garden maintenance for residential clients
- Maintain lawns through mowing, scarifying, aerating, watering, and treatment
- Keep flower beds and borders free from weeds
- Prune shrubs, hedges, and small trees as required
- Plant shrubs, flowers, and seasonal bedding plants
- Assist with turfing and lawn installation
- Support fencing and landscaping tasks when needed
- Clean outdoor surfaces using a power washer (patios and driveways)
Health & Safety
- Follow all workplace safety procedures to protect yourself, colleagues, equipment, and customers
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Comply with all relevant Health & Safety regulations
