About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and physically fit 3.5T Van Driver – Secure Collections Operative to join our team in Trafford Park, Manchester. This role combines professional driving with manual handling, collecting confidential documents and secure materials from customer sites for safe transportation and destruction.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive a 3.5T van safely and efficiently between customer locations.
- Collect confidential documents and secure waste materials.
- Lift, carry, and transport heavy sacks of paper and other recyclable materials.
- Load and unload materials while following safe manual handling practices.
- Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.
- Plan delivery and collection routes using job sheets.
- Use a PDA to record collections and customer information.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately.
- Ensure confidential materials remain secure during collection and transport.
- Provide professional and friendly customer service at every client site.
What We’re Looking For
- Valid UK licence to drive a 3.5T vehicle.
- Comfortable with physically demanding work and regular manual handling.
- Reliable, organised, and safety-conscious.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
