Hours: 12.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM), including some school holiday work
Salary: £23,794 FTE (Actual Salary: £7,763 per year)
About the Role
Meadow Primary School, part of Bourne Education Trust, is looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
This role is ideal for someone with previous cleaning experience who takes pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness and enjoys working as part of a supportive school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean classrooms, offices, corridors, halls, kitchens, toilets, and other designated areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors to a high standard.
- Dust, wipe, and sanitise furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
- Safely use cleaning equipment and materials while following health and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and hygienic school environment.
- Work independently and as part of the facilities team to complete daily cleaning tasks.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience in a commercial, educational, or similar environment.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Awareness of safeguarding responsibilities and commitment to protecting children.
- Positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills.
