Many of our pupils have faced significant challenges in both life and education. Our mission is to provide a supportive, nurturing environment where every young person can build confidence, discover their strengths, and develop the skills they need for a successful future.

As part of our growing team, you will work alongside experienced teaching staff to create positive, engaging learning experiences that inspire pupils to succeed.

You will work within small classes of up to five pupils, providing individual and group support to help learners achieve their personal, social, emotional, and academic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support teaching staff in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support tailored to individual pupil needs.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
  • Help pupils develop confidence, independence, and resilience.
  • Adapt learning activities to ensure all pupils can access the curriculum.
  • Promote a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to support pupil progress.

  • Can build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
  • Is patient, flexible, and resilient.
  • Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Wants to contribute to an ambitious and growing school community.

Previous experience in education or special educational needs is desirable but not essential. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to making a difference are what matter most.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary of £19,000–£25,000 per year.
  • School holiday entitlement.
  • Company pension scheme.
  • Blue Light Card eligibility.
