Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Laundry Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will help ensure that all linen and garments are cleaned, processed, and presented to the highest standards. Previous laundry or hospitality experience is beneficial but not required, as full training can be provided. We are seeking someone with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, and prepare laundry for washing according to established procedures.
- Safely operate laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and folding machines.
- Inspect cleaned items to ensure they meet quality and hygiene standards.
- Fold, organize, and prepare clean linen and garments for distribution.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized laundry area.
- Monitor inventory levels of detergents, chemicals, and other laundry supplies.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Report equipment faults or maintenance issues promptly to management.
- Assist with other laundry-related duties as required to support daily operations.
