Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Laundry Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will help ensure that all laundry and linen services are completed efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Previous laundry or hospitality experience is beneficial but not required, as full training can be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to company procedures.
- Operate laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and folding equipment, safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all linen, uniforms, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to a high standard.
- Prepare and organise clean laundry for delivery to relevant departments or guest areas.
- Keep the laundry room clean, organised, and compliant with hygiene standards.
- Monitor stock levels of detergents, cleaning products, and other laundry supplies, reporting shortages when necessary.
- Follow all health and safety policies and procedures.
- Report equipment faults or maintenance issues promptly to management.
- Support the team in maintaining an efficient and professional laundry operation.
