About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and friendly Bar & Waiting Staff to join a busy hospitality team in London.
You will play an important role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests by providing excellent service, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring customers have a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and assist with seating.
- Take accurate food and drink orders.
- Provide menu recommendations and promote additional items where appropriate.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Manage multiple tables or bar areas during busy periods.
- Clear tables and keep service areas organised.
- Process cash and card payments accurately.
- Assist with basic food preparation when required.
- Answer customer questions and deal with concerns professionally.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth service.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous hospitality, restaurant or bar experience, preferably.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- A friendly, energetic and professional attitude.
- The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Good attention to detail and time-management skills.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling payments and customer bills.
- Knowledge of food safety and serving procedures.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Kitchen or food preparation experience is an advantage but not essential.
