About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Cash & Carry / Shop Floor Assistant to join our team in Salford.
The successful candidate will help ensure the shop floor is well organised, fully stocked and welcoming to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Replenishing and organising stock on the shop floor
- Assisting customers with their queries and purchases
- Keeping shelves and displays clean, tidy and well presented
- Checking stock levels and reporting shortages
- Receiving, moving and organising deliveries
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Supporting other members of the team with general shop-floor duties
- Following company health, safety and operational procedures
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Friendly and confident when dealing with customers
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Organised and able to work in a busy environment
- Physically able to move and handle stock when required
- Previous retail, warehouse or cash-and-carry experience is desirable but not essential
