About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated Cleaning and Waste Operative to join our team in a busy warehouse environment.
You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the site, including warehouse areas, washrooms, canteens and other communal areas. You will also assist with waste collection and disposal while ensuring that all cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and correctly.
Full training will be provided, so previous cleaning experience is not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general cleaning and tidying across the warehouse and surrounding areas.
- Clean washrooms, canteens and other shared facilities.
- Use cleaning equipment, materials and products safely and appropriately.
- Keep cleaning equipment clean, maintained and in safe working condition.
- Respond promptly to client call-outs and cleaning requests.
- Collect, sort and dispose of waste in accordance with site procedures.
- Follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe and professional working environment.
- Work effectively as part of a wider cleaning and waste team.
