About the role
Cedars Village is looking for a bank Housekeeper to help keep our residents’ homes and shared spaces clean, safe, and welcoming. You’ll cover sickness and holidays, so shifts will vary. You’ll work both in residents’ apartments and around the village, and your friendly, respectful service will make a real difference to people’s day-to-day lives.
What you’ll do
- Clean residents’ apartments, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Launder residents’ bedding and clothing with care
- Keep lounges, dining areas, and hallways clean and presentable
- Help with light maintenance tasks when needed
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the village
What we’re looking for
- Housekeeping experience, ideally in a residential care or hospitality setting
- A keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently on your own
- Warm, clear communication and a compassionate manner
- Sensitivity to the needs and preferences of older adults
- Willingness to complete background checks and relevant training
