📍 Job Details:

• Location: Cedars House, Barnet, Hertfordshire
• Job Title: Part-Time Care Home Cook (x2 vacancies)
• Hours: 21 hours per week (across 7 days – including weekends)
• Shift Start Time: 7:00 AM
• Salary: £12.82 per hour

🧑‍🍳 Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve nutritious, home-style meals tailored to residents’ needs.
• Maintain high standards in food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
• Oversee food stock, ordering, and budgeting.
• Supervise the Kitchen Assistant and support a safe, clean kitchen environment.
• Engage with residents to gather meal feedback and ensure satisfaction.
• Adhere to CareTech policies, food safety regulations, and maintain confidentiality.

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• Previous catering or cooking experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions with attention to detail.
• A caring, respectful attitude toward elderly residents.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
