About the Role – Laundry Assistant (Part-Time, 16 Hours per Week)
As a Laundry Assistant, you will play an essential role in creating a clean, comfortable, and homely environment for our residents. Our housekeeping and laundry teams are valued members of the Peverel Court Care community, regularly interacting with residents, staff, and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all laundry operations
- Sort, wash, dry, iron, and distribute resident clothing and household linen
- Ensure all items are cared for and returned correctly
- Support a safe, hygienic, and organised working environment
- Follow company policies and correct reporting procedures, including accident reporting
- Work collaboratively with housekeeping and care teams
- Provide friendly, respectful interaction with residents and visitors
- Occasionally work weekend shifts when needed
