About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our friendly and dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for customer service and an interest in jewellery. You will play a key role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience by assisting customers, supporting merchandising, and maintaining an attractive and organised sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers, ensuring a positive and memorable shopping experience.
- Communicate product information clearly and answer customer inquiries with confidence.
- Use upselling techniques to maximise sales while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Support merchandising efforts, keeping products well-presented and appealing.
- Maintain an organised and tidy sales floor.
- Handle telephone inquiries professionally and courteously.
- Manage time effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
Requirements
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of metals and jewellery to confidently engage with customers.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is essential; experience in jewellery retail is desirable.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Enthusiasm for learning and developing within the role.
