About the Role
Homebird Interiors St Annes is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Weekend Sales Assistant to join our team. No previous retail experience is required — if you’re approachable, hardworking, and keen to learn, we’d love to hear from you.
This is a permanent role, ideal for someone seeking long-term weekend work. The position covers one or two days each weekend (Saturday and/or Sunday), with the opportunity for additional shifts during busy periods or to cover staff holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with their purchases
- Offer product recommendations and support upselling where appropriate
- Replenish and maintain stock displays to keep the store looking its best
- Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-organised shop floor
- Manage time effectively to complete tasks during trading hours
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales targets
- Assist with stock control and inventory management as required
About You
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with customers
- Well organised with good time management skills
- Willing to learn and develop product knowledge
- Reliable and available to work both Saturdays and Sundays
