About the Role – Kitchen Team Member
As a Kitchen Team Member, you will support daily kitchen operations at The King’s Head, a much-loved local pub in Chingford known for its warm atmosphere, classic British dishes, premium drinks, and seasonal events.
This role is perfect for someone who has experience as a Kitchen Porter or is ready to take the next step in their kitchen career.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and prepping ingredients
- Cook and present high-quality dishes consistently to specification
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Support the Head Chef with stock checks and food orders
- Oversee kitchen deliveries
- Help maintain kitchen equipment and ensure safe operation
- Share creative ideas to help improve kitchen performance
- Work with the team to achieve company goals and service targets
