About the Role
CrossReach is looking for a caring and reliable Housekeeping Assistant to help create a clean, comfortable and welcoming home for older people. Your work will play an important role in supporting residents’ wellbeing and helping them feel respected, settled and at home.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home
- Support residents to keep their rooms clean, safe and comfortable
- Work collaboratively as part of a friendly and supportive team
- Assist and support new colleagues when required
- Follow all Health & Safety and COSHH procedures
- Attend training sessions and team meetings as needed
About You
- Take pride in keeping environments clean, tidy and welcoming
- Reliable, considerate and caring in your approach to work
- Willing to learn – no formal experience required (experience in a care setting is an advantage)
- Comfortable using basic IT systems
- Willing to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme
- Able to work within CrossReach’s Christian ethos and values and show respect for Christian worship

- You must have the legal right to work in the UK
