
Royal Holloway University is looking for an Extended Hours Library Assistant to join their Library Services team. Help maintain a high standard of service during weekday evenings and weekends!
Location: Egham, Surrey (campus-based, near Windsor Great Park and commuting distance from London)
Hours: 8.5 hrs/week – Wednesdays & Thursdays, 16:45–21:00
Salary: £25,358 per year (pro-rata, including London Allowance)
Job Type: Permanent, Part-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist library users in person and online
- Deliver excellent customer service to a diverse community
- Work effectively as part of a team while completing assigned tasks
- Use IT and social media tools efficiently
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail
Requirements:
- Customer service experience
- Good IT and social media skills
- Eligible to work in the UK
