About Philomena’s Irish Pub
Philomena’s Irish Pub is a lively, friendly Irish pub located in the heart of Covent Garden. Known for great service, a welcoming atmosphere, and a hardworking team, we are now looking for a motivated individual to join us full-time and grow into an Assistant Manager role.
The Role
This is a full-time bar position with a clear progression path. You’ll start as a key member of the bar team and, with training and support, develop into an Assistant Manager within a few months. There may also be a live-in opportunity available in the future.
No previous experience required — full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver fast, friendly, and efficient customer service
- Serve drinks and manage bar operations during busy shifts
- Upsell drinks and promotions across the bar, floor, and outdoor seating
- Support day-to-day running of the pub
- Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Learn management duties in preparation for promotion
