About the Role
Stoke by Nayland Resort is seeking a reliable and experienced Weekend Laundry Assistant to join our Housekeeping team on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
You will be responsible for supporting the laundry operation across the resort, ensuring all linen and laundry services meet company standards while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all laundry duties required for the role
- Use company-approved chemicals safely and in compliance with COSHH regulations
- Adhere to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 at all times
- Follow company policies on health & safety, food safety, and COSHH
- Identify and report hazards, accidents, and first aid incidents
- Understand and follow hotel fire safety procedures
- Complete and maintain all standard checklists accurately
- Report maintenance issues via the Helpdesk and follow up to ensure resolution
- Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the housekeeping department
