About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Waitress & Barista to join our busy and welcoming team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service and high-quality food and beverages.
You will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, taking orders, and ensuring customers enjoy a positive and welcoming experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, in line with company standards
- Take customer orders efficiently and provide friendly, professional service
- Operate the till and handle cash and card payments accurately
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across workstations, equipment, and customer areas
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
- Restock supplies to ensure smooth service during busy periods
- Assist with basic food preparation when required
- Manage time effectively to maintain fast, high-quality service during peak times
About You
- Previous experience as a Barista, Waitress, or in a similar hospitality role is preferred but not essential (training provided)
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is an advantage
- Confident working in a busy, customer-facing environment
- Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Positive attitude and a strong team player
