The Role

We are looking for experienced Support Workers to join our expanding team in Sawbridgeworth. You will provide high-quality support to individuals both in their homes and the community, helping them achieve independence, confidence, and engagement in daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with day-to-day living, including personal care, household tasks, and health management.
  • Support individuals to engage in leisure, educational, and employment opportunities.
  • Respond to challenging behaviours professionally, using positive behaviour support and de-escalation techniques.
  • Promote independence, confidence, and community integration.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, upholding our core values: Choice, Fulfilment, Privacy, Dignity, Rights, and Independence.

Essential Criteria:

  • 5–10 years’ experience in social care.
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex needs, including aggressive behaviour or self-harm.
  • Background in mental health units, hospitals, or similar high-support environments.
  • Strong understanding of positive behaviour support strategies and de-escalation techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, emotionally demanding role.
  • Right to work in the UK.
