About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our team at the Imperial Hotel, located in the historic heart of Tenby with stunning views of South Beach. This is a hands-on role supporting the kitchen team to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient working environment while helping deliver a great food experience to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the kitchen team with food preparation and basic kitchen tasks
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the kitchen
- Assist with stock rotation and putting away deliveries
- Ensure the kitchen is organized to enable efficient operations
- Work collaboratively with the chef team and support smooth daily operations
- Learn and develop kitchen skills with guidance from senior staff
Requirements
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene (Food Hygiene Certificate is a plus)
- Flexibility, adaptability, and teamwork skills
