Role Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and caring School Bus Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for safely transporting children to and from school, ensuring a comfortable and secure journey. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a difference in their daily routine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company minibuses on scheduled routes.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
- Communicate effectively with office staff, parents, and personal assistants.
- Adhere to traffic laws and all company safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate trip logs and records.
- Support children with SEN during transport, ensuring a safe and positive experience.
Working Hours:
Your working hours will generally fall between:
- Morning: 7:15 AM – 9:45 AM
- Afternoon: 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM
Actual hours may vary depending on the route schedule.
Requirements:
- Valid driving license appropriate for the vehicle type.
- DBS clearance (this is a requirement for the role).
- Experience driving professionally or working with children is advantageous.
- Patience, reliability, and strong communication skills.
