🔧 Housekeeping Job Responsibilities
As an Internal Housekeeper at Sonder, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our properties are always guest-ready and maintained to five-star standards:
- Clean apartments including bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, balconies, and hallways
- Change and restock linens, towels, toiletries, and kitchen essentials
- Polish surfaces, vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust furniture
- Maintain public areas including lobbies, elevators, stairwells, and fitness centers
- Report damages, safety concerns, or maintenance issues
- Use mobile apps to track assignments and report updates
- Organize housekeeping carts and storage areas
- Complete deep cleaning tasks and special cleaning projects
- Maintain guest confidentiality and ensure privacy and security
- Travel between multiple property locations in London (reliable transportation required)
🧍 Who We’re Looking For
We want dedicated professionals who:
- Have previous housekeeping or cleaning experience
- Can work independently or in a team environment
- Are tech-savvy and comfortable using smartphones and apps
- Have knowledge of cleaning supplies, sanitation procedures, and equipment
- Can lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Are flexible with working evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Have access to reliable transportation (bike, car, public transit)
- Can speak English and communicate effectively with the team
