Roehampton Gate School, part of Aspris Children’s Services, is hiring a Housekeeper / Cleaner to help keep our school safe, clean, and welcoming. We support young people aged 9-19 with mild to moderate autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, and associated learning difficulties — and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
🧽 Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and hygienic school environment in line with safety and operational standards
- Ensure all housekeeping tasks and daily cleaning schedules are completed on time
- Report any damage, faults, or issues to the Maintenance or Management team
- Use cleaning equipment efficiently and safely
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines
- Keep records of cleaning duties and schedules up to date
- Be responsive to additional cleaning needs as they arise
✅ What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in housekeeping, commercial cleaning, or school cleaner roles
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations in a cleaning environment
- A flexible and proactive attitude
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
