🧾 Key Responsibilities:
As a Receptionist, you’ll work closely with GPs, nurses, and other operational staff to ensure the centre runs safely and efficiently.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Welcoming patients and visitors to the Urgent Treatment Centre, both in-person and by phone.
- Managing bookings, appointments, and patient enquiries with accuracy and empathy.
- Providing high-quality customer service while maintaining confidentiality.
- Supporting clinical and administrative processes for a smooth patient flow.
- Working effectively under pressure, prioritising tasks, and meeting deadlines.
✅ Essential Skills & Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 5 GCSEs (including Maths and English) OR NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a fast-paced office or reception role (preferably within healthcare or customer service).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent multi-tasking ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and efficient under pressure.
- A patient-focused mindset with a commitment to quality care.
- Flexibility to work a 24/7 shift rota including nights and weekends.
