The Role
We are seeking a caring and reliable Weekend Care Assistant to join our friendly and professional team. In this role, you will provide personalised home-based care, ensuring clients are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion at all times.
Key Responsibilities
As a Weekend Care Assistant, you will:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, dressing, and meal preparation
- Encourage independence while maintaining comfort and dignity
- Follow individual care plans accurately to meet each client’s specific needs
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Travel to clients’ homes and provide care in different locations
- Maintain accurate care records and report any changes in clients’ conditions
- Participate in training and continuous professional development
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in home care or a care setting is desirable but not essential
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to understand and follow personalised care plans
- A valid driving licence is required due to travel between client homes
- Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication
- A compassionate, reliable, and supportive nature
