The Role
As a Waiter, you will take ownership of your section, delivering exceptional service and ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience. You will work closely with the Head Chef and front-of-house team, supporting both day-to-day operations and long-term service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Relations
- Welcome and engage guests with warmth and professionalism.
- Handle special requests or complaints efficiently, escalating when necessary.
- Ensure accurate and timely table service.
Team Support & Leadership
- Lead service sequences according to operational standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stock levels in the dining area.
- Collaborate with the kitchen to ensure smooth service flow.
Service Excellence
- Uphold service standards to deliver a seamless guest journey.
- Monitor service efficiency and suggest improvements.
- Participate in pre-shift briefings and maintain records of guest preferences.
Operational Oversight & Continuous Improvement
- Conduct regular walkthroughs to ensure hygiene, safety, and aesthetic standards.
- Demonstrate knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service standards.
