About the Role
A quadriplegic gentleman in Glasgow is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to provide dedicated support. This role involves assisting with personal care, domestic tasks, cooking, cleaning, and driving. You will also provide support during wheelchair rugby tournaments a few times per year.
This is an on-site role. Applicants must be physically able, reliable, and have a full, clean driving license (manual). No previous experience is required, but a sense of humour, patience, and a positive attitude are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care and daily living tasks
- Perform regular domestic duties including cooking and cleaning
- Provide transportation as needed
- Support during wheelchair rugby tournaments (3–4 full weekends per year)
- Maintain a reliable, punctual, and professional approach
Requirements
- Full, clean driving licence (manual)
- Physically able to perform tasks
- Reliable with strong references
- Positive attitude and good sense of humour
- Must be based in or able to relocate/commute to Glasgow
- English language proficiency
