We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Wrexham. This role is vital in providing high-quality care to residents in both care home and home care settings.
Key Details
- Pay: £13–£14/hour
- Contract: Zero-hours
- Location: Wrexham (in-person, travel to various locations may be required)
- Driving Licence: Preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Follow individual care plans to meet each resident’s needs
- Maintain accurate care records and report changes in residents’ conditions
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care
- Use IT systems effectively for documentation and communication
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Proficient in IT for record-keeping and reporting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Caring attitude with a passion for helping others improve their quality of life
- Willingness to travel to various locations as required
Qualifications
- Education: A-Level or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in a care home
- Licence/Certification: Driving licence preferred
