About the Role
Edgar Townhouse Bath is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Housekeeper/Server to join our team. This is a weekend role with flexible hours from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays, starting with breakfast service and continuing with housekeeping duties once guests have departed. Immediate start available.
This position offers the opportunity to progress into other areas such as breakfast chef or reception for motivated and capable candidates.
Key Responsibilities
Server Duties:
- Greet guests and take food and beverage orders politely and efficiently
- Serve breakfast and other meals, clearing tables and maintaining a clean dining area
- Ensure excellent guest service at all times
Housekeeping Duties:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms and bathrooms to high standards
- Make beds, replace linens, and restock toiletries and room supplies
- Dust, vacuum, polish furniture, and clean glass surfaces
- Remove trash, used towels, and debris from rooms
- Maintain housekeeping cart and equipment, reporting any maintenance issues
- Follow hotel security and safety procedures
General Duties:
- Attend to guest requests promptly and professionally
- Comply with food hygiene and cleaning regulations
- Contribute to the reputation of the hotel by delivering thorough, high-quality work
