A family-owned grocery and Halal butcher shop in Brixton is looking for a friendly and reliable Shop Assistant to join the team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers and helping with day-to-day store operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve customers at the till and handle transactions
- Replenish shelves and maintain stock levels
- Keep the store clean, organised, and well-presented
- Assist customers with product questions and recommendations
- Receive and check deliveries
- Support in-store promotions and product displays
Requirements
- Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Basic numeracy skills for handling payments
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Previous retail experience is desirable but not essential
