Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Café Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy and vibrant café. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards, and leading a team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Supervise, train, and motivate staff to maintain a positive and productive work environment
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Manage stock levels, order supplies, and coordinate with suppliers
- Deliver outstanding customer service and respond to customer enquiries or concerns
- Prepare staff schedules, conduct training sessions, and perform performance reviews
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation across the café, kitchen, and dining areas
- Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction
- Work closely with vendors and suppliers to maintain product quality and availability
Requirements
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards
- Experience working in restaurant or hotel environments is preferred
- Understanding of food production and kitchen operations
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- Experience serving customers in a hospitality setting; barista experience is an advantage
- Knowledge of hospitality industry regulations and health & safety standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
