Role Overview:
We are looking for a reliable Laundry Assistant to ensure our clients’ laundry is clean, well-maintained, and presented to a high standard. You will play a key role in managing laundry operations efficiently and keeping the laundry environment safe and organized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage laundry procedures to maintain a steady workflow
- Load and unload washers and dryers with correctly identified laundry bundles
- Ensure a regular supply of detergent and fabric conditioner
- Maintain laundry equipment, including daily dryer de-fluffing, and report defects
- Handle soiled or infectious linen correctly using designated laundry bags
- Allocate clothes to appropriate cubbies and distribute to clients’ rooms
- Mark clients’ clothes correctly and maintain tidy wardrobes
- Iron clothes when necessary
- Keep the laundry room clean, hygienic, and organized
- Perform other reasonable duties as required
Requirements:
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow procedures
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team and maintain hygiene standards
